2006-2007: NovaTac, Inc. originally emerged as a leading developer of the NovaTac EDC (Every Day Carry) flashlight series. NovaTac, Inc worked towards improving their EDC flashlights in 2007 by making them MIL-STD-810F compliant for military use. In 2007 NovaTac Inc. was certified as a member of the Army Family of Flashlights with their EDC-120™ Series and provided this multi-functional hand-held white light series to Soldiers throughout the United States Army.

2008-2009: NovaTac, Inc. customized their previous EDC flashlight series by programming the illumination system towards the end-users request of what best fit their weapons light mission profile. NovaTac, Inc. then developed a durable and rugged dual activated remote pressure switch tail cap to permit the weapons light to be operated remotely, while still containing the user-friendly capabilities of the NovaTac flashlight series.

NovaTac, Inc., through it’s dealers, has supplied over (35,000) NovaTac flashlights and remote pressure switch tail caps as a component of weapon light kits to US military forces in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation New Dawn. Other DOD and Federal Agency customers of the NovaTac series of flashlights include the United States Border Patrol, United States Secret Service, the United States Marine Corps, and various U.S. combat forces currently serving or returning from in Iraq and Afghanistan.
